Who we are

The group currently employs more than 350 people in the development, production and sales of CEE-type plugs, socket combinations, industrial connectors, charging infrastructures for electromobility, power distributors and transformer stations.

As a company with a global network, WALTHER-WERKE is represented through its products and services on all of the world's key markets. In addition to more than 60 independent sales partners, the WALTHER Group also has wholly-owned subsidiaries in the US, Great Britain, France and Austria. Company presentation

Comprehensive industry solutions

At the heart of WALTHER-WERKE's strategic orientation are comprehensive systems in selected areas of application. With our unique product portfolio comprising transformer stations, power distributors, socket combinations and plug systems, we connect electrical consumers with the power supply network in the construction, leisure, industry and mobility sectors.

With over 100 years of experience in power distribution, strong customer focus and high-quality solutions, we aim to deliver maximum benefit to our partners.

History

WALTHER-WERKE has over 100 years of experience and is the expert in low-voltage distribution. Since it was founded in 1897, the company has demonstrated time and time again its ability to offer products and solutions to match current and future needs.

So it is no coincidence that key innovations such as the construction site power distributor in the 1940s and the CEE-type connector in the 1960s are inventions from WALTHER-WERKE.

Quality

Integrated management systems ensure customer-focused processes. At WALTHER-WERKE, quality management means much more than mere product quality in the form of value and reliability. For us, it is a comprehensive management approach and pervades everything that the company does.

To raise our quality management to the highest possible level, we extended our  ISO 9001 certification to the international automove standard ISO/TS 16949 in 2013. Since the end of 2015, ISO 50001  certification has also underpinned our management system.

Skills and commitment

WALTHER-WERKE is traditionally associated with an exceptionally high level of vertical integration. As a result, virtually all of its key components are produced at its German production facilities. This means that we are able to guarantee our customers maximum flexibility, quality and most importantly technological expertise.

Components that we do not produce in-house are procured exclusively from renowned, quality manufacturers with whom we have long-established partnerships. This is because these components ultimately end up in our products - and so we bear the responsibility for our customers' satisfaction.

WALTHER-WERKE is also an honorary member of various associations, shouldering responsibility on national and international standardisation committees. This allows us not only to contribute our extensive knowledge of products and systems to the standardisation process, but also means we are always able to offer our customers the very latest information.

Locations

Tailor-made solutions only become possible through close communication with our customers. A dense global sales network comprising four of own subsidiaries and 60 international representatives on every continent highlights our drive to satisfy our customers' wishes through skills and a local market presence.

We are not interested in short-term successes. Instead, we seek long-term, ongoing partnerships that are an essential part of the added value creation process within our strategic orientation.
